Hey everyone!

Just wanted to let you know where we're currently at with the Quantum Knight project. As I'm sure all of you know, I'm currently working on the first bossfight, with QK's fellow superhero, Megalith. At this point, I've finished all the basic attacks that I want for her. I had more planned, but I think I'll delay them until after I have a first demo out, as they add a bit more complexity to her moveset.

Which means that we're on to coding! Followers of my other project probably know that this means a little bit of a drought in content for a while as I take those animations and code them together into a demo. I'm cautiously optimistic that it won't take too long, but at the same time, trying to code a zooming camera system today absolutely kicked my ass, so we'll see how that goes (Going to give that dang camera another go after I finish posting here).

I genuinely can't predict how long it will take to get the first demo out. I want to say the end of this month, but without really sinking my teeth into it, any estimates are guesstimates at best. If it does drag on for too long though, I'll start alternating animation and coding so that I can work on the demo and upload content. Though hopefully it won't come to that, as I find switching between the two a bit of a pain, workflow-wise.

Thank you for the update and best of luck to you. What will the camera zoom be involved in? That sounds interesting.

Will there be a buttcrush move without gas? Something similar for like the breast slam maybe? Or on the ground?🤷‍♂️😇

I was planning to have the camera zoom in/out during the megalith fight, but honestly I'm now wondering if it's not just best to have it zoomed out all the time.

The buttcrush move without gas will probably just be that. The same animation without the gas effects.
