That's it dear Patrons,

we're officially done with the "remastering". Once started ~ 1 year ago the whole "remaster" project was palanned to last no longer than 6 months (...ankward silence)

In fact numerous other projects been way more important than remastering older shows. Even if the outcome of those remasterings was pretty neat the gap between what we consider as "good" and how the older works MoCap quality is became bigger and bigger with each month we gain experience and became better.

The latest mistake with the "doubled remaster" took away the decision what to do now pretty easy hence we've been really struggeling in the past two months what to do with it and if we really want to continue remastering old things.

WHY THIS DECISION THOUGH?

Some people are wondering how we can have so much to do, aren't we lacking ideas because we've done already so damn many shows and other things?

Honestly, there are more ideas and concepts than Gatos to create it. At the moment we have ~10 concepts flying around for the next months only. Pair this up with the amount of "remasters to do" (officially still 35) and you can relate the battle with the remasters is something one Gato can't win and is not willing to win anymore.

Just to ask a question. Do we REALLY want to waste our time on old MoCap shows in which we didn't even had knee trackers and also pretty bad looking joint behavior while OptiTrack AND a brand new studio is around the corner plus we are kind of drowing with tons of ideas an concepts?

well, no. From now on we won't touch any old scene and the only thing we keep from the NOT content dropped scenes now will be the idea and maybe the soundtrack.

ABOUT THE CONTENT-DROP


Now THIS is important. Those files are in the .vac format (NOT .var format). For the sake of anything PLEASE read the readme file within the download link to get sure you understand what a .vac file is and HOW it works.

We will NOT answer any questions related to any missing content within the shows and strongly state that there IS missing clothing, hairs, assets, plugins and more. We will also not answer questions about how those files work. It is all explained within the note.
