Kale’s parents think Halloween is a stupid holiday so they don’t really decorate or celebrate it. As a kid, Kale’s still allowed to go trick or treating with Markus, they just end up making Kale’s costume. They don’t trick or treat anymore, but they go to Halloween parties and Markus likes to costume coordinate because Kale doesn’t care. This year they are Herbert West and Dan Cain from ReAnimator.
