Hello! It's namakxin here. Greeting you with my first creative journey post. Through this creative journey post, I hope to address some of the many questions you might have about what I see when producing artworks with Midjourney, including my criteria for artwork uploads and the editing process.

While working on this series, there were artworks that were good or even outstanding, but due to various reasons like not resembling the character, they weren't uploaded and were left out. However, they were serialized in the Sexy/SFW Theme. Please refer to this post for them.

In this post, I'll introduce the failed pieces, the workflow, and artworks that underwent substantial edits from their initial versions.

When I set a theme for the artwork, or even if it's not League of Legends, there are often times when the style of certain characters isn't maintained. For various reasons, the work itself might take a long time. I express this as "difficulty" through 🔍Artwork Creation Feasibility.

Examples:

Ahri: The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th styles are completely nonviable. The first one is my preferred style, but it was overshadowed by other uploaded artworks.)

Morgana: Only styles that completely mess up the character are generated, but there are a few that resemble Morgana. Sometimes adjusting the prompt can yield results, but due to production time, it wasn't included in the Beach Theme. Typically, such cases are rated from "Hard" to "Very Hard."

Ashe: It's unclear whether it's LoL Ashe or Overwatch Ashe. In such cases, at least the style is consistent. So, the production difficulty is ranked from "Normal" to "Hard", and I look for an artwork resembling LoL's Ashe worthy of uploading.

To sift through and obtain the best pieces, I run them throughout the day. During this process, excluding editing time, there are instances when I spend hours solely on Midjourney. And sometimes, as I continue, I come across gem-like artworks.

(Using Midjourney, I corrected awkward parts like the hand and the area next to the buttocks, and retouched & edited the face details in Photoshop.)

This initial piece of Jinx x Beach is my favorite from this theme. Should I describe it as a Work-In-Progress (WIP) from the AI canvas? There are some odd-looking parts, but I believe that at first glance, the primary piece will stand out to everyone. Seeing this, I experiment with Midjourney's Variations, selecting the better versions and contemplating where to make edits, either in Midjourney or Photoshop. In this instance, I adjusted the hand and refined the details of the face.

Additionally, for Miss Fortune, I adjusted the length of her legs, removed unnecessary parts, and spent time retouching her face. I also made efforts to erase any awkward areas. For those curious, download both versions and compare them. The changes will be immediately noticeable. As long as these revisions don't consume too much of my artwork creation time, I do make such modifications.

This is the type of work I do daily. I wanted to give you a rough idea of how artworks are completed in this manner. The most time-consuming piece was Jinx x Bath Theme. Obtaining it from Midjourney was quite challenging, and the editing with SD's I2I and Photoshop was equally tough. If I find time at the end of this month, I'll introduce it in the next creative journey post.

I'd like to show you more, but writing this took more time than I expected. I believe you'd prefer me to get straight to creating artworks, so I'll get right on it.
