Thanks to the power of healing magic, KWA fighters aren't out of the game for long even after the most brutal defeats. The only thing keeping a wrestler out of the ring is a lack of determination... or perhaps the presence of fear.

Zaerine has neither. She's taking that damn bird down, and she doesn't care how many times she has to get broken to do it.

The previous plan was "keep the bird down". That didn't work out well for Zaerine. It seemed like the obvious play since the Matriarch relied so heavily on flight, but in hindsight, it had obvious flaws. Zae was a high flier too- just without wings of her own. Her submission game was always lacking, and the Matriarch relied almost entirely on torturous grappling holds. The plan was foolish from the start.

Ok, whatever the plan, step 1 is being able to survive the harpy. To that end, Zaerine has turned to an unlikely trainer: Tal'naya Breathtaker, the former champion! The night elf is a master of submission wrestling, and that means both offense and defense. A couple days in the ring with Tal'naya will surely help Zaerine to be able to hold up a bit better against the winged assault.

This is just the necessary setup to get to the main plan, though...

That guy

Theres something about seeing Talnaya in a submission hold that doesnt quite tick for me, even though I love small wrestlers submitting larger, more imposing foes. Might have to do with how you built up her reputation, but I cant quite put my finger on it

Well, it is just practice after all. She's just trying to help Zae get her game figured out!
