Zae's Vengeance: Better Call Tal (Patreon)

Tal'naya and Zaerine may not be "friends", per se, but they get along fine. Its no real secret that though Zae is certainly a heel in the KWA, she's not an asshole of a person in reality. And besides, it's pretty hard not to get along with Tal. So it follows that Tal is usually present at the ring for most high-tier matches in the circuit, and this is no exception. Though it isn't a title defense for Zaerine (the Matriarch has no interest in such things), the current reigning champion fighting at all is always a spectacle worth coming to. Besides, Zae wasn't the only one who had some faith in her win. Tal'naya was the one that lost the belt to her, after all. She knows better than anyone how powerful the blood elf has gotten.

This time, it was probably a good thing the former champ was there.

The KWA has a medical team, obviously- both traditional physicians as well as more magical priests for when... extreme support is needed. Technically, just being here as a viewer, Tal definitely shouldn't jump in the ring to help. But when Zaerine gets catapulted into the canvas like she was shot out of a dwarven hand cannon, and just crumples on the mat in a broken heap, Tal can't help herself.

Besides, she knows what she's doing. She's a Restoration Druid after all.
