Nobody takes a full-powered Pyroblast from Zaerine Grandveil. NOBODY.

Tal'naya's head snaps back as the turnbuckle keeps her body in place. Zae's full momentum smashes into the side of her face with a heavy thud, and a blow that might incapacitate a fighter for weeks. Audience members close to the ring claim they could quite literally see the lights go out before Tal even started sliding down the corner pads.

Zae, of course, crashes into the mat pretty hard herself. With nowhere for her target to go, all her momentum is absorbed by the night elf's face. For a few, long seconds, both combatants lay motionless on the canvas- Tal'naya slumped in the corner, and Zaerine prone in front of her. Stars swim in Zae's eyes, and her ears ring as she tries to put together what happened. As she slowly lifts her head and sees the champion felled, the last of her adrenaline rushes into her body.

The blood elf shoots up off the mat, leaping over her fallen foe up into the corner. She throws her arms out to the sides and just screams with wordless victory out into the crowd- all the energy she has left in her body crying out in victory!
