Kassandra has been rarely, if ever, faced by a true equal. Across all of Greece, she has easily stood against anyone who would step to her. She believed herself to be unstoppable. Really, she just hadn't fought any real competition yet. Corrupt guards and weak schemers are far from the top of what is available in the world.

Enter Skarlet and Mileena. Two top-tier fighters from the Mortal Kombat tournament, first sent to test if Kassandra may be worthy to join in with the tournaments. They found very quickly that she was not, but took their time making sure the trip was worth their while.
