Tal'naya rushed over to the battle as soon as she heard the screams. She couldn't see the Matriarch from how far out she was, but she immediately had a pretty good idea of what was happening. She certainly didn't look forward to facing the bird out in the field, but she sure wasn't going to leave Arysia to her fate. If anyone had a decent chance out here, it was Tal.

Like I said, harpies are built from the ground up to snatch victims up into the air. The forest here is the Matriarch's domain. This is where she was designed to work. If it was up to her, the turnbuckles in the KWA would be 20 feet tall- she has nothing to work with in the air in a wrestling ring!

Here, though, there's plenty of terrain advantage to be had. Exhibit A- Tal'naya being snatched up into the air and slammed into a tree. THIS is what the bird is built to work with.
