The guillotine choke was no finisher- and it wasn't meant to be. Jaina was still fully able to kick and struggle, fighting back against her tormentor. It was difficult to break free given the torque on her spine, and hard to breathe with the arm around her neck. None of this was going to put her out, though.

Sylvanas had a much more involved plan for that, and she wasn't going to let her joyride end this quickly.

Keeping her grip around Jaina's throat, the banshee once again brought a knee up into her victim's spine. As the mage twitched her body up, trying desperately to get away from further strikes, Sylvanas simply fell backwards. The momentum brought Jaina arcing backwards through the air, where nearly all the weight of both their bodies was focused on the impact of her skull and the mat. For a moment, it looked like the admiral was already unconscious.

This wasn't the case, of course, and Sylvanas knew her prey wasn't quite that weak. She was stunned for a minute, though, and the queen would take this opportunity to set up something much more painful.

Jaina's world spun for a moment. It was pulled back into sharp focus by the incredibly searing pain in her back as her captor wrenched back on her chin, pulling her head up towards the sky while her hips were still pinned to the mat. Sylvanas again wasted no time. She folded Jaina back immediately, pulling with enough strength to send her gazing up into the clouds above their open air ring.

Now, Sylvanas settled in with a smile. The time to make her rival scream was at hand. This battle was already over.

Jaina was in blinding, crippling pain- but she wasn't quite ready to surrender yet. That slam had moved the pair back, and Sylvanas looked to already be savoring her victory. The ropes were right there...
