Miu lounged in her pink pajamas, her eyes glued to her computer screen. The glow from her monitor lit up her smug grin as her fingers tapped rapidly on her keyboard. The intense battle in her game was heating up, but she couldn’t help herself.
“You call that a strategy?” she mocked, her voice dripping with sarcasm. “You’re honestly so bad at this. Are you even trying?”
The voice on the other end of her headset went quiet, but she didn’t notice the pause. She laughed, finishing off her opponent with a final, decisive move. Satisfied, she stretched her arms and yawned.
“Ugh, I’m bored now,” she muttered. Shutting off the game, she glanced at the clock and sighed. “Whatever, I’m going to sleep.”
The next morning, Miu sat in her university lecture, doodling absentmindedly in her notebook. The professor’s voice droned on, but her mind wandered back to the game from the night before.
“That voice…” she thought, chewing on the end of her pen. “It sounded so familiar. Could it have been someone from school?”
The idea sent a chill down her spine. Shaking her head, she dismissed the thought. “No way,” she muttered under her breath. “What are the odds?”
As the lecture ended, Miu began packing her things, but before she could leave, a figure stepped in front of her. She looked up to see Alex, the new foreign student in her class. His tall frame and confident demeanor made him hard to miss.
“Miu,” he said, his voice low but firm. “We need to talk.”
“Uh, about what?” she asked nervously, already feeling uneasy.
“I know it was you in that game last night,” Alex said bluntly.
Her stomach dropped. “W-What are you talking about?” she stammered.
“Don’t play dumb,” he said, crossing his arms. “I recognized your voice. And if I report the racist stuff you said to the administration…”
Miu’s heart raced. She knew the university had strict rules about online conduct. If Alex reported her for her disrespectful remarks, it could mean suspension—or worse.
“W-Wait!” she blurted, grabbing his arm as he turned to leave.
“Wait, please!” Miu’s voice cracked as she tightened her grip on Alex’s sleeve.
He stopped and looked back at her, raising an eyebrow. “What is it?”
“I’m… I’m really sorry, okay?” she said, trying to keep her voice steady. “It was just a joke. I didn’t mean anything by it.”
Alex didn’t look impressed. “Acting cute won’t work on me,” he said flatly.
Miu’s cheeks flushed, and her nervousness turned to frustration. “Fine! Then what do you want?” she snapped.
Alex smirked, pretending to think. “How about… you apologize with your body?”
Miu’s eyes widened in shock. “W-W-WHAT?! My body?!” she exclaimed, her voice rising in pitch.
“You heard me,” Alex said calmly.
Miu clenched her fists, glaring at him. She hated the idea but knew she didn’t have many options. After a long pause, she sighed and looked away. “Ugh, fine,” she muttered. “But just this once.”
That evening, Miu stood outside Alex’s apartment door, fidgeting nervously. She raised her hand to knock but hesitated, muttering to herself.
“This is so stupid,” she said under her breath. “I can’t believe I’m doing this.”
Finally, she knocked. The door opened immediately, and Alex greeted her with a calm smile.
“Come in,” he said, stepping aside.
Miu entered, crossing her arms. “I’m here to apologize, okay? Let’s just get this over with.”
Alex closed the door and leaned against it, his expression unreadable. “You know that’s not going to cut it,” he said.
Miu groaned in frustration but knelt on the floor, lowering her head. “Fine. I’m really sorry. Is this good enough?” she said, her tone laced with irritation.
Alex approached her, smirking. “That’s better,” he said. “But come closer.”
The evening passed with Miu reluctantly agreeing to Alex’s terms. Despite her initial resistance, she couldn’t help but notice his confidence and how easily he took control of the situation.
As the minutes turned into hours, Miu’s frustration gave way to something she didn’t expect: curiosity. By the time she left Alex’s apartment that night, she was flustered, exhausted, and dreading the week ahead.
The next few days were a blur of encounters between Miu and Alex. Each time, she felt herself growing more conflicted. On one hand, she hated how he seemed to have the upper hand. On the other, she couldn’t deny the thrill of surrendering control, even if only for a little while.
By the end of the week, Miu found herself waiting outside Alex’s door again. This time, there was no hesitation as she knocked. When the door opened, she greeted him with a shy smile.
“Welcome home, master,” she said softly, a red collar visible around her neck. “I’ve been waiting for you all day…”
The days passed, and Miu’s absence from class didn’t go unnoticed.
“Have you seen Miu lately?” one student whispered.
“No, she hasn’t been in class for days,” another replied.
Back at Alex’s apartment, Miu didn’t seem to care about the rumors. She had settled into her new routine, greeting Alex with eager enthusiasm each day.
“People are starting to talk,” Alex teased one evening.
“I don’t care,” Miu replied, her cheeks flushed. “All I need is you.”
As the week came to an end, Miu found herself reflecting on how much had changed. Despite everything, she couldn’t deny that she had grown to enjoy her time with Alex.
“Thanks for today,” she said one evening, a playful smile on her lips. “I’ll be waiting for you again tomorrow…”
