Uh oh.

Readers might notice a reference to a certain very well-known city on Page 1! That's because this story is actually following one in the timeline that was part of a compilation at TG Comics. They have a period of exclusivity but for now, you can purchase it as one of 15 stories for $5.95.

So, we'd been batting around some ideas of doing a collaboration with Lady Valiant for a while until it finally got made.
But now, here it is! It started off as 7 pages with some modifications to fit certain Exiern character traits and rules if you like (these two weren't the originally proposed two characters) and see if you can guess which parts of the first 7 pages we wrote!
Then we felt it ended a bit suddenly, so we wrote and made an additional seven pages as our right of reply!
There'll be one page a day updates on the $5 tier until 14 pages are posted.
In terms of where this fits in Exiern continuity, it's the second story in our Fragmented Future Fairy Fables (work that alliteration!) of a maybe future in a time that our heroes are retired from the really big events in their lives (you know how it is, peak adventure can't go on forever in someone's life!).
We say maybe future because you never know what's going to happen in the mainline story between now and then. For all we know, we're getting a sneak peek into an alternate reality or something like that.
Anyway, we hope you enjoy this collaboration that was a long time coming!
