Dark Reflections: Chaos Page 180 - The Zap Gun (Patreon)

A lot of us have probably conflated tasers and stun guns at one time or another but from what my research has told me, tasers are ranged weapons like the ones seen last page while this is a stun gun.

As for where such things as these, modern ski gear, one aeroplane (so far!) and mass-produced cigarettes are coming from is a whole other question! (Actually the aeroplane is easy, it clearly says New Zealand on the body).

As for the title of this page, it comes from the Philip K. Dick novel of the same name. Not one of his better-known works but probably good reason, it might be the one he wrote in less time than it's taken me to write a page of this sometimes. The man was nothing if not prolific (and his best works are still stone-cold classics and highly recommeneded).

Anyway, as we can see, the effects of this weapon were so shocking that someone's facial hair seems to have pre-emptively taken flight even before contact!
