Free Patreon month is still free, just deferred one month. (Patreon)

The original plan was to not charge any patrons on the Exiern Patreon on January 1st 2022 but we've had to defer that one month to no charge on February 1st 2022.

So there'll still be a free month with no charges for everyone but now we will be still charging on January 1st 2022 now. It's now February 1st 2022 without the charge.

The reason for the one month delay is that even though the 60 page bonus story is basically finished, it still needs some post production work and the artist making it didn't want to rush that step.

As for why there's a payment break at all, it's both a thank you for all you long time supporters as well as for any new patrons we manage to get to sign up with the promise of a bonus story once a first payment clears a chance to consider whether they stay longer or not without having to worry about having to decide within one month. Giving them more time, basically.
