Blog 3: Your quick guide to the Exiern universes. (Patreon)

I'm going to do a longer post about this later but in order to try and clear up any potential confusion, here's a quick guide to the Exiern multiverse.

The short version is (to keep it simple), think of Exiern as the MCU and Dark Reflections as What If ... ? (I know, I know - thinking very highly of ourselves - again.)

As there's two Dark Reflections, think of it as two What If ... ? ...s (I think Marvel comics also did that sort of thing with their What If ...? premises).

That's one story, plans are afoot to make it easier and faster to read soon but as it stands you can stick to that URL and get one story, even if it does skip about in time a bit.

Typh and the gang were last seen on a ship, there has been a detour into the past but we will be seeing Typh and the gang soon.

Dark Reflections: Zen and Dark Reflections: Chaos

Dark Reflections is an alternate universe where the attempt to rescue Peonie didn't quite go as planned. There's more to it than that but that's the gist of it at the moment.

Why is there two of them? A fair question which once again we'll get to with a follow up post soon but for now think of it as a single alternate universe that split into two (it's not actually quite as simple as that but once again, that'll do for now).

Zen was the one where everyone has some kind of arrangement with Faden that got thrown in prison and they have only just worked a way out of it while Chaos is where Tiffany was having no truck with Faden after coming out from under his control and punched him square in the face leading to them going in a different direction, figuratively and literally.

On Patreon, each title should have either Zen or Chaos in the title to tell you which is which but there's also a tag on each page specifying which version of Dark Reflections it belongs to (Zen or Chaos) as well.

Additionally, we're also reposting the original version of Exiern as both written and illustrated by Exiern's creator Drowemos.

Lots of excised (for now!) characters and subplots and we're posting one new page a day (or more accurately, part of a page most of the time - the files were divided up in all sorts of ways). We're past the halfway mark now and there's already over 60 posts to read already!
