So, once upon a time back in December of 2014 (yes, it's been a while!), a story started set in Neese (called Neese as it happens) on the $5 Patreon tier featuring characters that first appeared here:

Anyway, both for those who haven't read it yet as well as our hope to get more to read it, we're releasing the opening scene as a teaser free for everyone to read.
