Vex Clock | Hangout Events And Alternate Costumes (Patreon)

Heyo howdy, how have y'all been? Enjoying the new Vampiric Vacation update for Dave.EXE? Since I've finished that update, I've been busy busy with Vex Clock and preparing for the demo build.

As you may have seen on Twitter recently, I teased one of the hangout events that can occur during the game. As you complete missions, personal missions will appear, and you'll have to complete these to progress through the story. Each personal mission will require you to play with only the specified character in your party. Difficult under certain circumstances, but as you adapt to each character's playstyle, it makes it easier to swap between melee and ranged to get the job done.

As you complete personal missions, you're rewarded with a cutscene that gives you a chance to look more into the backstory of these characters and their aspirations. Completing a character's route will grant a different ending to the game, so it's not just for the sake of lore.

Besides making a bunch of cutscenes for these hangout events, I've been working on a bunch of unlockable alternate costumes for various characters with 80% of them being completed. Here's a small teaser for some of them!

And for some news involving the demo build. As soon as I finish these last two hangout event cutscenes, I just gotta do a few final adjustments and a demo build should be ready and packaged. However, even though I may have this build ready within the next week, I'm honestly doing some heavy debating over whether or not I want to make this demo public or exclusive to Patreon. If I do keep it exclusive to Patreon, do I want to wait and drop it as soon as it's done or once I've finalized something big and may require me to wait until late August to do so? It's a tough decision, cause I personally really wanna hear feedback from folks as soon as possible. But waiting until August will probably be my best bet to increase visibility and future sales. You'll see what I mean if/when the time comes. ;)
