I don't know what hit me with this last episode but I did a lot more complex drawings than usual. I think it's partly due to the fear that I should realistically have ended the series at episode 10 and now feel more pressure to let watchers know this fort still has a bunch of life to it- because it does!

It's rare to get a narrative arc of any sort with dwarf Fortress. I feel like the death of Tinny sorta brought the fort full circle in a way. The dwarves have learned how to defend themselves, enjoy life and now have a nice fortress home to live in.  That said, I don't really like story arcs! Isn't it more interesting to not know what will happen? I personally feel like having stories that lack arcs most of the time make it feel a lor more special when they do randomly occur. Thats kinda how life works too, eh? I like seeing the dwarves doing lame little things and living their lives without the expectation that it is all leading to something but with the knowledge that the stories are all there and just look different that one would expect.

Drew Wisp a staggering  times in this episode. has to be some sorta record there.

Actually, doing a count here, I guess we did Queen Bee nearly the same amount. Didn't seem like it, though. Queen Bee is generally more fun for me to draw even though she has a bit more detail to her.

Only did The crab a single time in this episode. Cryin' shame I say.

Idle thoughts lol. I'll let you go.
