Taking on a bit more of a casual style with this video here in an attempt to do 5 of these in 5 days. I've really wanted to try out the new version of DF and so we're going to be doing just that.  Lemme' know what you think of this thing. Good/bad, any feedback is appreciated!

Thanks again for all you do, m'dudes

Hey, we're going to be trying something a little different. Taking on a bit more of a casual style with this video here in an attempt to do 5 of these in 5 days. I've really wanted to try out the new version of DF and so we're going to be doing just that. Lemme' know what you think of this thing. Good/bad, any feedback is appreciated! Fan art submission: kruggsmash@gmail.com Thanks to the BEST colorizer around: Mrs. Kruggsmash! A HUGE thanks to all of my patrons, without whom I would not be doing these videos right now! And of course, special thanks to the creators of this beautiful, complex madness: Tarn & Zach Adams: http://bay12games.com/dwarves/ And last but certainly not least, thank *you* for watching, m'bastard. I couldn't do it without you. I love this format, this is a great break from your normal content. I hope you do more of these past the 5, but I don't want you to do more of these if it means you're gonna over work yourself...

Relativity new viewer here so take with a grain of salt! I enjoy this format also. I like the mix up in general it helps keeps things fresh be it short fort, long epic fort tale, adventure mode, as much chaos as one can fit in a fort, forts with unique goals. I come back for the story telling as I suspect most of your audience does (and silky smooth campfire tales voice, the fort videos are my new adult bedtime stories haha) and I enjoy anticipating what new kind of story you have in store! I always find when you try something new and even you're not sure how it will turn out it makes things very exciting! What new invention, what new trap, etc. And everytime you try something new and different it changes the story telling ever so slightly as well! I think it's great you're experimenting especially with formats that have a direct benefit to yourself. I tried to analyze the views but it's kind of hard because as far as I can tell your videos seem to accrue a lot of views overtime? vs when they are first released but the normal format might be more digestible for people stumbling across your videos vs subscribers and patreons who probably need much less visual hand holding through an episode. Not sure if you care about the last viewership thing but just a thought! Maybe a poll on what brings people back to the videos to figure out what things you want to focus and prioritize might be a good idea as well? Best of luck with your future forts!
