That's a perfect wild tribe feeling! For civilized metalsmithing dwarves, they could be ceremonial armors... possessed by the divine presence of some dwarven wildlife God, a group of dwarves monks lives in a surface monastery by the volcano, dress in blu chitin armor, live of hunting nd gathering and serve the wider community soothing the Wild offering Invaders - and the occasional dwarf - as sacrifice to the volcano. I wanna see this 🙂
