 This week we're going to try out a sort of "hermit fortress". It's going to be small. Curious to see what we can do with just two dwarves.

Very cool idea, seeing how your forts and videos are really character-oriented. To me, labors and job organization is really the greatest hurdle, and I always get stuck with huge unfinished labor backlog

Awhile back, I tried a fortress with the normal number of dwarves, but no equipment. I role-played it as a military squad that quit or were dismissed, so they got drunk and took a wagon to the middle of nowhere. They had an empty barrel and a bunch of cups, but that was it. Fun! (But can wooden axes still be used to chop down trees?)
