Not going to start a long series *quite* yet just because the next update still has some cooking to do, so I figured what better way to prepare than by learning to look through a world's history.  Yes, we'll be taking a look through legends mode next week which should be a good bit of fun!

We'll see how it goes and if you guys like it well enough, we might be able to fit in some more before the release!

Using external tools eg Legends Viewer will make this much much more pleasant to do as you can view things on a map and follow hyperlinks to places and people and civilizations. Even if you just go back to vanilla for footage.

Sounds great! My favourite video on your channel is Epeve the Maneater so I know that legends mode videos can be really wonderful.

make sure there is enough ale and strawberry wine for all. otherwise we may be overcome with madness and make some strange archaic craft made of the highest dwarven craftsmanship.

I hope you do this for every world before generating a new one. Sort of like a one last look sort of thing before moving on sort of thing,

I hate this awkward period just before the update! I don't want to start a fort since my last one crashed seeing as how I'll just going to make a new one in the next tenday! Guildhall's and villians are going to add a whole new depth to Kruggs videos! I'm so excited!

Isn't it awful?? The anticipation might literally be killing me at this point. i'm very excited to try an adventure run with a part of mount-riding adventurers. That'll be cool as heck (i'm hoping!)

Oh actually, this is going to be a brand new world generated for this video. I might do one on Tar En as well, though depending on how well this thing goes. I still don't really know what i'm doing, lol.

Kruggsmash

Ohh cool cool! This one won't be as focused as that one was, but hopefully we'll see some cool characters regardless.

Kruggsmash

Probably, yeah. But meh kinda. All the info is still a bit abstract and seemingly unreliable anyways, so i'm pretty fine not getting too far into the nitty gritty.

FWIW, there is stuff you get from legends viewer that is really difficult to glean from legends without a ledger and a lot of time. Particularly things on the civilization level like how long wars lasted and how many were involved, and weird constituents (animal people, cave dragons, vampires, etc.) that are in those civs. I find it also makes exploring family trees much easier. Particularly of monsters.

Would love to see you do one on Tar En once you feel more comfortable with exploring Legends mode. There's some amazing stories in there!
