Avarice, A Dwarf Fortress inspired roleplaying game (Patreon)
Content
Hey, dudes! A while back I was contacted by the good folks over at DDE adventures ( https://www.drivethrurpg.com/browse/pub/8402/DDE-Adventures ) about lending some illustrations to be used in some sort of DF inspired game. Sounded interesting and they really seemed passionate about it, so I said "go for it!"
Truth be told, I haven't had the time to play through a game of it, but they were kind enough to send me a hardcover copy of the book as well as the cards that go with it and I spent the day reading through it in my off-time and I gotta say, it really does seem fun!
The game involves a gamemaster, players (playing as dwarven clans in a fortress), alcohol, a shared sheet of paper (on which players take turns drawing out the fortress layout), a Jenga tower and copious amounts of roleplay.
I really am impressed with this book's layout and how well it's made. It'll fit right in with all my DnD books and really, i'm very proud to have been a part of this project!
If you want to check it out, here's a link.
There's a pay-what-you-want .PDF download, The Hardcover book and the Avarice cards.
