Ep5 dev update 08/04/2024 (Patreon)

Hey hope you're having a fantastic Sunday!

This week a lot has been going on.

The custom Stronggirls model for the art is nearing completion! With that, we've unlocked a super clean style that is consistent with the game but is also far superior in details. If you follow in the discord or on Deviantart you can see posts from me using this model.

For the game development, I've worked hard on creating the seamless 'virgin route' - where you don't get forced into a relationship with Saya, Manami or Yuka. To access this route you need to select 'Don't call anyone' At the first pivotal choice in the game.

If you recall, this is in the bedroom when you test the serum for the first time.

 (The UI elements are still being worked on for the choices.) (also notice the old sprites in the screenshot above and compare with the new ones in the screenshots below!)

If you choose to not call anyone, the player will go to school the next day and try to tell Manami and Saya about seeing Yuka growing in the alley.

 The only way to convince Saya and Manami that you are telling the truth is of course to let them try it themselves.

This scene is almost completed.

Here is the virgin route broken down:

• 1. Don't invite anyone

• 2. Get new scene at school where Saya and Manami grow.

• 3. Confront Yuka about serum (same as original ep1)

• 4. Reach ep1 end where Yuka gives exposition about the Organization. (same as original ep1)

• 5. Spend summer vacation alone.

  • This again is new content. This scene isn't finished but the idea is that the player spends his summer doing some side gig - earning you bonus cash and stat points.

After summer the game continues like normal, but you aren't dating anyone. So no more need to break up with s/m/y to get with the other girls.

What's going on in the Super Supporter Discord Channel?

In the super supporter discord, I've been sharing more! I'm working on Kaori's path also. I was very unhappy with her old sprites so I decided to update her with the new model. I gave some sneak peeks into the super tier on the discord!

 Speaking of Super tier discord...

I use it a lot to gauge preferences and let the community share their thoughts.

Super supporters also helped finetune the model when I asked to vote on images. Thank you everyone!

Final bit of news today (it's a long post eh?)

I opened up the request forum on the discord! I teased about it more than a month ago but it's finally open. Free members can view it, but only paid members ($4 and up) can make requests.

Last night we did our first test:

You can find the request forum under the SD community tab (see screenshot)

This request forum will be a great place for you to get an image made in the stronggirls model. It goes without saying but the focus is on muscle girls - Requests that deviate from that won't be considered.

For me, it provides more testing which helps us finetune and stress test the model - plus I enjoy making art that isn't directly connected to the game as well!

I don't know how many requests I will be getting and in case I get an overwhelming amount, please understand if it takes time for me to get around to doing yours.

My plan is to sit down every Saturday and bang out as many as I get around to 😎.
