“I could shoot someone on 5th Avenue and get away with it”… Welp looks like Homelander went and made that a reality. As someone who was once a grubby teenager hiding inside an oversized hoody in the back corner of various comic book shops around North Shore Massachusetts reading issues of The Boys, I can confidently say that the TV series has perfectly conveyed the original spirit of The Boys in a contemporary setting, and has artfully trimmed some of the over the top sexual and violent uhhh….. shenanigans that took place in the comics while retaining an enjoyable level of grossness. The show is doing a great job bringing critical voices into the mainstream, and it’s been amazing seeing those conversations and ideals that were just discussed in quiet circles in my youth becoming part of public discourse, and as a bit of a dirt ball I’m glad The Boys are bringing that message with a degree of enjoyable nastiness! I’d also like to comment on Hueys realization about his Dad; as someone whose been to that place beyond despair where everything is cold and grey and formless, having the strength to still move through it regardless of everything because you still know you have to provide for someone, even if that just means some warm pizza rolls, means a lot, and now that Hueys been through so much he can see that now. Anyhoodles thanks for listening to my TED talk and cheers as always! Hope that lil’ nugget doesn’t elbow his way on outta you Kat!😘

It has been confirmed by Eric Kripke the shows creator that Black Noir will be back in season 4, here's how the actor who plays the mask less Noir in the flashback in episode 3 is not the same actor who's in the suit regularly, So the actor from the flashback will play a different character in the Black Noir suit. He may be a more talkative Noir.

I knew this before, but reading someone saying "The Boys TV show tones down the sex and violence" just makes me scared to read the comic. :P
