Just one thing about Dara because I noticed you were surprised to see him in Cintra. In the fifth episode Dijkstra got Dara out of prison to send him as a spy in Cintra to get information and that’s why in that scene he was talking to Philippa and i think you didin’t notice that he was secretly listening Cahir and Fringilla talking about their main plan in the gardens. Personally, I really think ageing Ciri up really hurt this episode and the start of her relationship with Yennefer. While I think they wanted to devote this season to the building of Ciri and Geralt's relationship and devote the next season to Yen and Ciri, I think they really struggled here, which is really disappointing for me since I had high hopes after the last season. I think the biggest contributing factor in this though was actually the makeup and wig for Ciri, which made her look older and too close in age to Yennefer for it to really give a maternal vibe in their interactions. It's really disappointing, since my biggest fears when the cast list was announced originally was that Anya and Freya were going to struggle to pull off the mother daughter relationship because of their ages. But then in the first season, I was really hopeful, since they played their characters quite well and how Freya was able to look quite more child-like. But then at the start of this season, the new wig and makeup artist just wanted her to be supermodel pretty and didn't seem to think of the repercussions of making Ciri suddenly look older :( Anyway, rant over!
