This season definitely feels fast compared to what we've seen so far, especially the first season. I believe it's because Isayama had gotten criticism for how long this arc took in the manga and he wanted to do it differently this time around for the anime, so a lot happens very quickly. I personally find this arc very satisfying, so I don't feel like it's "rushed" or anything like that. The fast pace is exciting imo.

these first episodes of this season definelty feels like a lot of information coming at you all at once , i recomend you to rewatch them tbh! A little fun fact for Kat since they were wondering of Kenny's voice actor ,his name is Kazuhiro Yamaji and hes actually married with Hange's voice actress Romi park LOL and Hōchū Ōtsuka is Jiraiya's VA ;)

i actually prefer the manga version. because in the anime so much of mikasa's character has been reduced to "I've gotta save eren no matter what!!" and so many of levi's dialogues that are essential imo to his character has been cut. but still, it's not by any means a bad arc. i just wish they hadn't cut those parts out

Also you have to watch the whole ending at the end of episode 12, they show a cutscene in the middle!

what chapter does this arc start in the manga? I'd love to read it to add depth to Mikasa's character. She's a badass but sometimes in the anime is feels like she's just been reduced to Eren's character.

Start at chapter 51. There's a lot of stuff that has been cut in the anime for this arc.

Yeah, I knew it wasn't Jiraiya, I just couldn't place the familiarity of his voice. I looked at his IMDB (don't worry, I skipped over the Attack on Titan part to not get spoiled about anything) and I couldn't find anything that I've seen, so I must just find some familiarity in his voice ☺️

I think they should skip it as it spoils future events. If they don‘t want to watch the openings they probably shouldn‘t watch that scene as well.

Skipping specific intros like S3 P2, sure. That one doesn't need any context, it's that spoilery. But the after credit scene is supposed to be watched. Unless you know the context or actually go into analyzing mode, you won't figure out whats happening. Every anime only at the time it aired was very confused in the discussion threads on MAL and Reddit.
