We are watching the series on Disney+

This chapter showed us even more from Boba's time with the Tusken Raiders. It's all really intriguing, and it certainly makes for some great character development. In present time things are really heating up as well, with the arrival of a couple of Hutts. Can't wait for the next one!

We’re a little busy with all the shows we are watching, and after Kat started work again. But the plan is to watch two more episodes tomorrow, and then get them out as soon as possible thereafter 🙂

I have to agree with the helmed being off too much. I mean why would he take it off in public or in town? if he’s trying to project power? He’s the crime boss, look the part. That’s just a nitpick for me. The rest of the episode was amazing and blew my mind. They sure humanized the Tuskens. It also had a last samurai feel to it when Boba was training with his stick.

well the mayor has a translator to make him sound human and speak English so that's why he doesn't have a difficult accent.

I think Boba is trying to go for a more “you scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours” rule, vs a terroristic “do what I say or else” style of rule. This doesn’t mean that he won’t be ruthless to those who don’t respect the rules… “you don’t scratch my back, I break your back” kinda thing. I’m really enjoying the visuals of the alien species, they look more like the physical puppets of the original trilogy. I’m all for that dirty ‘70s look. Side notes: Tusken Raiders vs the Train is 10000% inspired by Lawrence of Arabia, with Arab raiders taking out an Ottoman train. Also just straight up calling the crime lord “daimyo” the name of japanese feudal lords, is a direct reference to the Kurosawa films that inspired George Lucas! Great stuff, glad to see El Padre Major again!
