Well, we sorta knew where this was all heading.. But it was still quite tough and emotional to watch. Now we at least know a little more about Levi, and why he chose to follow Erwin Smith.

in the manga when erwin asks "so they all died?" later, he doesn't say "pathetic." he says "i see." idk why they made him say that in the anime. it was a bit out of character in my opinion. i can see why you guys were shocked lol

Another time when you realize why Levi is "Humanity's finest". No one can compare to his skills, not even Mikasa. He is deadly. He had a pretty shitty life but he is intrigued by Erwin.

[Idk if its just me but the sound of the episode was louder than you guys voices but then in the review it was fine ,idk if thats something that can be fixed but its okay ,or maybe its just my ears acting weird ] I cant wait for S2E1! 🤧🖤

IMO I think Erwin ´pathetic ´ sentence was to push Levi and make him come out so he can explain things to him on cleanly. I always thought of Erwin as a pragmatic leader but he also saw sooo much tragedy that he became numb and focused on humanity ´s fate hence the fact he spent just 2 seconds when he spotted Flagon’s mutulated body and then he went forward. For me his words for Levi was his way to show care.

I get how you feel about Erwin, I was also confused as to why he treated Levi like that when his two closest friends (I'd say family!) just died in a horrible way, like it was so unnecessary cruel. Then I read the manga for this ovas and felt so much better about Erwin because he wasn't like that at all, I don't know why the animation studio changed his character so much for this episodes, given how important they are to understand Levi's feelings towards Erwin :(

I think I remember they saying that they will watch episode 1 of season 2, then watch 1 OVA from Ilse's Notebook (Everyone should know why). Then they will continue season 2 maybe...^^
