This was such an intense season finale! It really felt like a lot happened, and a good handful of new elements were introduced as well, which resulted in even more questions than usual. We honestly can't wait to continue and learn more about what it all means! Plus, that short post-credit scene? Whaaaaaat the hell..

The fun thing with AOT is that you will have your answers. But everytime, what it implies will multiply the questions.

Just want to tell you that ignore Eren's fire titan form, it was only anime artist decision. In reality he was just very angry Eren titan. Just so you don't think for future that he has that kind of power. Season 2 will be amazing to see your reactions as answers will be given and even more questions will be made for you to ponder. AOT is one of the best mystery shows ever made.

idk if you guys are aware of this but i think that in the Crunchyroll subs,there's a change of how they call The Survey corps ,they change it to the Recon Corps, Scouting Legion or Scout Regiment something like that (im not so sure about since i watch AOT in latin spanish) but at the end they all the same people anyway just wanted to let you know that theres a variety of names for it bc of how people traslate it 🥴 also get ready for the Sasageyo comments 🤣

I don’t know if it’s canon but my own interpretation for the fusion thing is just that Annie was using the organic matter of her titan to harden into that crystal shell and since Eren was right on top of her his titan was getting consumed into the shell as well.

@kat&sonny i think its only the survey corps name ,they refer them as Scouts or something like that but its still the same name in Japanese ,its just the diferent subs and dubs name that causes this confusion about the name in english :c

Not really, but different providers (netflix, funimation, crunchyroll, etc) translated it differently in Season 1. Crunchyroll sticks with "Scouts" from season 2 onwards. But all those different names like "Survey Corps", "Reconnaissance Battalion" refer to the same group.

Sadly there were 4 years between Season 1 and Season 2 and Crunchyroll was relatively new in the legal anime streaming business at the time season 1 aired and still relied heavily on "fansubs". Those 4 years obviously helped them become better and deliver more improved service & subtitles, as it actually started as a pirating & fansubs website. As such some fixes and changes of the subtitles are to be expected, but it won't change the story. You'll get used to the new name relatively quickly and it's the only time they rename it.

Can't wait for you to react to 2nd season, the writing of this show is top-tier. probably one of the best in animes I've seen( and I've seen hundreds), and even can compete with the best TV shows

A great finale and are you going straight into season 2 next week? I much prefer that. It was an interesting cliffhanger with the wall..a lot of destruction and lives lost in this battle. Really enjoy your reaction!

Omg yes! The writing is DEFINITELY better that most Tv shows. The plot is well crafted, thought about since the very beginning and everything clicks throughout the seasons. But What is astounding with Aot is the characters development, I have never seen so many characters being developed so well in the same show and all the reactions and actions are never out of character or the path it engages into, Which is my greatest disappointment with my previous favorite show ( cough cough * khaleesi* cough cough).

For the record, Crunchyroll still has by far the best subs for AoT. In seasons 2 and 4 especially some of the other 'official' sources have not only different but flat out WRONG subs in certain scenes which can be very confusing for first time watchers.
