Damn, this chapter went by quick! A lot of great action, character interactions and surprises. This book is already highly entertaining!

Thanks for the reaction! What about the ending of season 2 are you still confused about? I'm sure some of us would love to explain some things! I also felt that way when I first watched, but a couple of rewatches made everything clear to me.

Definitely the weakest of the 4 villains, but still has a bit more depth than Ozai which is wild haha. I like both of them though since I don't think it's a bad thing necessary to have a one-dimensional villain. Allowed for Aang and Korra to have a lot of growth within themselves.

Ahhh gotcha ok. Yeah i mean the how of that isn't ever 'shown' to us. When we meet Jinora she is already kind of a spiritual prodigy like Iroh was when we first got introduced to him. The viewer is meant to trust that Jinora has done a lot of studying and training regarding the spiritual side of Airbending. We have seen glimpses of this in Season 1 and 2, but yeah maybe they could have done more to show this off! The big things she does at the end of Season 2 were possible because of Harmonic Convergence. It enhanced spiritual energy for everyone, just like Sozin's comet enhanced fire bending and the full moon enhances water bending. That was also the only reason Korra was able to get B I G. She couldn't do that on a normal day. I believe Jinora's skill was greatly enhanced during HC, and she retained some of the knowledge moving forward. That is why she is able to do astral projection in Season 3. It's definitely not as powerful as it was, but she still kept some form of that skill. For me, it's like how in ATLA bloodbending was created by Hama, but she could only do it during the full moon. So later benders that heard of this new skill were able to train to do it without the full moon, like Yakone. These huge ENHANCEMENT events allow new skills to enter the world even after they end.
