We certainly didn't see this one coming.. What an amazing episode! A lot of ups and downs, information about the spirit world, and yes, a very special cameo by one of our absolute favourite characters of all time! This season really just kicked into high gear.

This episode (Book 2, Ep 10) has several parallels and nods to ATLA Book 2, Ep 10 “The Library.” One in particular draws a distinction between the “Spiritual” maturity of Aang vs Korra. The prairie dogs who fight Korra upon her and Jinora entering the Spirit World, are happily playful with Aang and his flute instrument in his series.

My two favourite Iroh quotes are in this episode: If you look for the light you can often find it, but if you look for the dark, that is all you will ever see’ and ‘many things that seem threatening in the dark, become welcoming when we shine a light on them. Everybody needs an Iroh in their life. By the way, I’ve noticed that some subtitles of this show do tend to be a little spoilery. I am not sure if that will be case with your version. Just something I thought you should know.
