We also check up on current events in Republic City, where Mako is doing his best to uncover and expose what is really going on with Varrick.

OMG DID YOU TWO HEAR THE NEWS ABOUT AVATAR STUDIOS!? Decent episode. Shame they had to go back to the other animation studio for this one, but it's cool. I really like Tenzin's story this season :)

also, I feel like Lin's distrust of Mako probably comes from his history with the triads. Def agree on the relationship aspect. It's the biggest thing people dislike about Korra. Luckily that all wraps up soon :) With the new avatar studios announcement, I think it would be nice to see a romance handled really well within the avatarverse, because I also agree that the Katara and Aang story wasn't the best. The Kyoshi novels have a great romance side plot so maybe they will animate that haha.
