They have been building towards something big for the latter half of this season, and boy did we get some payoff in the last episode! What a crazy ride, and with that ending.. holy f*ck are we ready for season 6! What about you all? What did you think of the finale, and the entire season overall?

That long shot on Naomi's face was amazing, really felt it through those agonizing minutes as the air was running out, condensation and slowly freezing. Amazing job. Where are those tissues when you need them? Kat is getting soaked... ;-)

I thought they handled Alex's death as best as they could. It was abrupt, but I buy it. Loved the scene when Naomi played her message for Holden. It had me in tears. That ending was scary, I hope we learn more about that in season 6. I'm interested in talking about season 5 with you guys I had some problems with the season but overall I enjoyed it. Great reaction.

Given the limited budget, they did a pretty good of showing Lunar gravity at times. I just wish that when the former sec gen tripped, he would have gotten airborne in a lunar hop, lol. A little bit of wire work would have been amazing, there.

Was really great seeing a little peek at Laconia. Books 7&8 are my favorite so was nice seeing that little sneak peek at them at the end. Wonder if they will show us more from laconia next season or will focus entirely on book 6

Guys, you mentioned considering reading the books - you should totally do it! While the show is very good (I was skeptical about the first season, although got hooked afterwards), but the books are on a different level. They provide so much more detail, background for characters, theories revolving around protomolecule, everything. The show cuts out and adjusts quite a lot of things (which is understandable). I can't recommend the books enough, especially after seeing you guys enjoying the show and analysing everything! And also I would love to thank you for making those videos. I learned about you two two months ago, and watched the show with you. Especially in current times, where I can't watch it with other people - you gave me a glimpse of sharing that experience and emotions, through laugh and tears, enjoying it with others. That might sound exaggerated, but it is true. Thanks again, and hope to see you again for Season 6!

Had to resub for one more month to watch this with you, almost feels like a journey, and I wanted to see every minute of it. I may stay for more than the month if I can but enjoy the last 5, you guys were great all these months and when you do get around to reading the copy of the Churn I sent let me know :-P

Regarding Alex, they gave him the death they gave Fred in the books, instead of being shot he died in a high G burn during the fight in the books so it was fitting.

Marco is not going to Laconia, he got the ring space and all the rings and gave them Laconia alone for all time. The Core Martians led by Admiral Duarte are the ones who went to laconia and mined the gate on the laconia side so no one can enter without permission

I think the books mentioned that the Juice supply was limited and lower quality since the attacks on Earth, which led to more people stroking out than usual, but that doesn't really apply to Alex. Sustained Hi G's are inherently dangerous and Alex was older, so it makes sense. Better to make his death meaningful rather than off camera.

I've read all the books and the show's writers still manage to surprise me season after season.

The ending was what I expected as this is the epilogue of Nemesis Games the book. Plus it brings back the whole part of the story that focuses on the alien gates and worlds which some viewers missed this season. It sets up a very exciting S6 and it will be so fun to get to that season! But I loved this season, every moment it was excellent from beginning to end! I will always miss the character Alex, it will be hard reading the books, knowing that there was a different end in the series but as they say, it is what it is and we will all get through it. Great reaction as always! Great season.

Reavers LMAO!!! but in this case I'd take the Reavers at least you have a fighting chance against them.
