This was such a heavy episode, it really hit us hard. The tenseness, the emotion, the writing, the music, the acting.. Damn we love this series so much!

I'm so behind on The Expanse it's ridiculous. That's main reason I joined so that I could have some company to watch it. Then I might start this again.

Re: the protomolecule, if you watch the battle again closely, the last torpedo the Zmeya launches has a blue drive plume(i.e. it's an Epstein drive and not just a chemical rocket) and takes off rather than hanging around. So safe bet they launched the sample for Marco to collect later.

Dominique Tipper killed this episode! Some of her the best acting of the show. Kat I cried with you. Naomi’s spacewalk is actually scientifically possible. She exhaled before going and she injected herself with hyper oxygenated blood like Holden did for Monica in earlier episodes. Marco is so fucking manipulative I hate him.

This season. This incredible, fantastic and amazing season. Don't know about y'all but I discovered I was holding my breath while Naomi made her leap into the void! Dominique Tipper delivered an award winning performance.

First off kudos to Kat for being a real trooper and hanging in there to do this episode. Also like how she was able to find some energy in the show and was looking better at the end then she did at the beginning. Loved the Naomi airlock scene my favorite OH FUCK! moment so far this season. Also like that you mentioned the after show show. Wes and Ty are knocking that out of the park. I really liked hearing how Keon came to the show, that was wild.

This was one of the most beautiful episodes I've seen, from this show. We have had so many amazing battles, and glorious intrigue, and spikes in character development; but this, was a masterclass in manipulation, emotion, realistic drama (to go with realistic science), and acting. I didn't think The Expanse would fully immerse itself in something that felt like theatre, but holy crap.

I really like the actor for Cyn. I felt for him, but he helped Marco hide her child from her...that’s insane to me. He never stood up for Naomi in a way that matters. So I understand his guilt, but I’m glad Naomi chose to save herself even if it meant killing him.

Might be because I've read the books that I felt this was too drawn out. Now they have to cram the best parts into 3 episodes? Also Cyn is dead, and Naomi used the injection before jumping out.

There is still season 6. Could move some parts to season 6. Pacing seems good so far imo

When I realized Naomi was jumping to her ship I started screaming “LETS GOOOOOOO!!!!” and double fist pumping, is this what it’s like being a sports fan?
