Hey there Avatar fans!

Here's a little Patreon exclusive for ya, where we watch a short Zuko centric video on YouTube, and talk a little bit about his journey and ATLA overall.

We really want to do more stuff like this, and we have a question for you all towards the end of the video where we ask for your input, so please feel free to post some comments about that right here!

Oh and a quick SPOILER ALERT for those of you who maybe haven't seen The Legend of Korra yet - we ran into a spoiler for that series while trying to find this video, and I get a little bit worked up about it. Sorry about that guys!

But anyways, we hope you enjoy this one.
Thank you so much for your support!
You are the reason we are able to do this 💜

Iroh’s unconditional love for Zuko always makes me tear up 😭 this was an awesome video guys, thank you!

Damn, a major bummer about the spoiler. And knowing youtube, you should now avoid looking at youtube recommendations for the rest of the show :D

You should react to the unaired pilot of Avatar lol. Or even the documentary on the making of the show. I would love to hear your thoughts on the Kyoshi novels as well! Yeah it sucks that Zuko in Korra got spoiled, but it's honestly not a huge deal in the end. I don't think you will be too disappointed! At that point in the series, you will care more about all the other characters that Zuko's inclusion will just be a bit of fun.

now im crying i love zuko so much 😭 💕 thank u guys ily

As far as comics go, I would check out this reddit post for extensive info(MAKE SURE not to read the LoK stuff at the bottom of the post since that might spoil some things. Easy to avoid though if you stick to the ATLA stuff): https://www.reddit.com/r/TheLastAirbender/comments/cmw4bd/how_to_get_into_the_comics/ There are 6 main comics currently that you guys should read. There are some videos on youtube going through them, but I always think it's just best to read through yourself. Physical or Digital works! The comics in order are the following: The Promise, The Search, The Rift, Smoke and Shadow, North and South, and Imbalance(my fav actually). I think a good plan would just be to read them on your own, then talk about them in a video. People can disagree with me on this obviously, but personally, I think it's best to just get through the comic, collect your thoughts, then talk about it on camera. Again though, read the Kyoshi novels :D They are VERY good. It turned Kyoshi into my personal favorite avatar over Aang and Korra. Really great stuff.

What a lovely video, you guys always seem to have such fresh perspectives. Some other Youtube videos that won't spoil Korra for you that I think you guys might like: "The Perfect Musical Symmetry of Avatar the Last Airbender" by Sideways, and "The Psychology of Azula" by Hello Future Me. :)

Robert

the dangerous thing about watching these videos, is the YouTube algorithm. It connects the Korra content with the Atla content through the word Avatar. So you can still get spoiled.

Norrin Radd

Korra is the superior show, so instead of spoiling yourselves just watch more Korra.

PolyRon

I'd watch anything with more Avatar and you guys. You guys respect the story so much and it shows.

MarkyO

Some spoilers are inevitable. Just gotta clear your mind and enjoy the show and try not to expect any of what you saw.

Apart from your opinion on those. I would also be interested in your opinion on some of the "Lost Adventures" Comics. They don't add that much to the story, but have some really nice moments. Not a big fan of "Team Avatar Tales" to be honest.

Ruma Risto

Could you guys make your own ATLA character tier list? I would love to see it :)

Kamau Catching

Honestly I wouldn't look up much of Korra anymore to be safe. I get worked up the same way ab any show...idk y ppl have to put thumbnails and titles that spoil. But I love that u guys are trying to give us more Avatar. U guys excell at show analysis so ur post episode discussions are really more rewarding than other reactors. Maybe u could have someone who has watched Korra to look up these kind of avatar tribute/show discussion types for u. Or wait until you are done with Korra and watch these types of videos for avatar and korra. Just a thought. Thanks for the content!

one of the reasons why i decided to finally watch seasons 2-4 of korra this year is because lok (and atla) was getting popular so i see spoilers all over my feed or in the suggestions all the time. i feel you man.

What a pleasant surprise! Thank you for this. How do you feel watching the show for a second time, Kat? Do you watch the show with a different perspective? Do you notice details and small references to later in the series that you missed the first time watching? Would love to hear your (and Sonny's) thoughts after watching it a second time.

Sonny Mike Olsen

Yeah, I catch a few details the second time around, but I'm also just enjoying it again. I was also very concentrated on my sister's thoughts and predictions, to see if she caught some of the stuff that I/we did then 😊

What a lovely video. I had so much fun and I love the way how much you feel with the characters (always) especially with Iroh and Zuko. It's hard to do fav's with this wonderful show, but I think if I had to my top three would have been Iroh, Zuko and Toph. Thank you so much for this great surprise video. And I'm really sorry for you two geting spoiled. It's always a shame when it happens. It takes away from the genuine surprise, but not from the heartwarming feeling of geting ties to Atla ♥ Maybe that can be a comfort. Much love and stay healthy.

I watched this show so many times and because of you guys i noticed that the voice actor of Iroh named Mako (that died while the show was being made/aired and got that tribute on the Tales Of Ba Sing Se) got his name used for Mako in Legend Of Korra and thats blowed my mind and ive watched Korra like at least 5x times. lol

Speaking about comics, i dont know if anyone had told you guys about this but they recently announced a comic series for Suki, "Suki Alone" and will launch at june 2021. There are some great ones for you guys to read but the ones that I most excited to know how u guys feel is "The Search", the one that talks about Zuko's mom.
