This episode made me feel like a little kid again! I actually think it did that for both of us, even. What a magnificent live action introduction to a character we already know and love from the animated series! The whole episode overall was pretty damn good, and now the stakes are even higher. We can't freaking wait for the remaining three!

I loved your child like glee with the episode, man I felt the same way. The single best character in Star Wars being able to be on screen. I cant wait to see where all this goes. Is it really the setting up of the Filoniverse as some have suggested. Man I really hope so. I really hope we get Lars Mikkelson as Thrawn, he totally nailed the voice and menace of Thrawn in Rebels, plus he totally looks the part.

The amazing thing here (aside from all the amazing in this episode), is that Filoni is going back to the origin stories of the Jedi (as he did with the Sith); and that he was allowed to do it. I've read that JJ erred on the safe side, even though he wanted to do it, in the Rise of Skywalker. Bringing in the Jedi (jedai), and Tython, and the amount of deep lore here, is an insane leap for producers (Disney) to take. This is a serious, in depth look from this show. I know you guys went crazy for the Thrawn reference (as did I. I peed myself, a little lol), but the mention of plotlines from legends, just shows how deep Filoni and Favreau want to go. I can only reiterate, let them have control of the whole thing.

I love how both of you geek out so much during all of this. My girlfriend is slightly new to the expanded lore of the Star Wars Universe so she didn't initially share my excitement, but she's totally down to learn and is loving the show. I love the both of you and how adorable your excitement is! I really hope the rumors of an Ahsoka show is true as well as maybe it just being a live action continuation of Rebels! That would be amazing. It's the best time to be a Star Wars superfan! Also Tython will be AMAZING to see in live action! Kat knows what's up with KOTOR! BEST STAR WARS GAME!

I’m on s3 of clone wars so I’ll be happy to see how Ahsoka goes from being a vaguely annoying Padawan to badass Rosario! I’m basically getting all these references in reverse, “ooh hey I saw one of those lothcat thingys in Mando”. I’m not sure what level Kat is teaching at, but as a son of two public school teachers I can tell you the worst part of teaching is not the coursework or grading papers or the school administration, it’s THE PARENTS. So good luck!

The first five minutes of this were like a horror film for those guards. When that one guy said to draw her out, I halfway expected the other to be like, "Bitch, YOU draw her out. I've seen enough holos, I know what happens if you wander off alone."

The best episode so far, you could tell Rosario had done her homework, she nailed the mannerisms and the soft voice of Ahsoka.

I understand the thought of it seems tipping to much to the old stuff (clone wars) BUT I think it is only true if us star wars fans make the newbie ones think that. Asoka simple ask about the her master, then ask about her master, then ask about her MASTER GRAND ADMIRAL THRAWN. We know how huge that is BUT the writing so so good. Just try to put your self in the mind of someone that knows no star wars but mandolarian. What you would now now is Thrawn is obviously a huge power player. Yes we have dealt with Gideon but this guy (Thrawn) has a JEDI searching for him. That is all but think about it, that is enough. Then when you think of fans that only know movies (1 - 6 ) It really works too. Just a thought.
