Another great episode!
We tried doing things differently regarding our review/discussion afterwards,
where we divided it up into two parts. A spoiler free part, and one where we
compare the episode to the books and games.
It resulted in a really long talk, so we might not do it like this again.

But thank you all for for your patience and support when it comes to
Kat's Masters Thesis. She did it! 😍
And now we can post stuff more regularly than before.

I haven't watched the reaction yet so I'm not sure what you discussed, but even as a non-book reader it's very interesting to hear you compare it to the books as long as future spoilers aren't involved

I always enjoy watching your full-length reactions and wanted to say that your discussion of Henry Cavil's performance has caused me to re-evaluate my own prior assumptions to reach a better conclusion. I agree with your perceptions regarding the presentation of Queen Calanthe though I feel it is based on the misunderstanding of just what a "powerful woman" is. Too many of today's writers and directors have grown up watching Lucy Lawless' performance as Xena, and not enough have watched Mellissa Benoit or Gal Gadot. And I think that what Mousker took off of Calanthe's body was that sash/stole that we saw her use in the wedding ceremony.
