Another very interesting episode with a lot of information!
We still have a ton of questions though, so the mindfuckery is still very strong with this series. And maybe next time we shouldn't do both Dark and Watchmen in one sitting lol.

Poor Egon, the universe continues to shit on him but in the end, he's finally putting the pieces together. Keep Innes' sleeping pills in mind going forward. There's and older film called Somewhere in Time where an old lady gives a playwright a pocket watch then the playwright travels back in time and the same young lady ends up with his watch in the past. The pocket watch is a bootstrap paradox object. I'm glad it finally has a name and I guess it's more common than I thought in Time Travel stories.

In the movie Predestination is a example of the Bootstrap Paradox. The movies is adapted from a Henlein short story, the term Bootstrap Paradox first appeared in relation to a short story of Henlein "By His Boostraps" The origin of the paradox and the mind fuck about the beginning of the loop is the Second Law of Thermodynamics. For example the book in this episode is subject to entropy and decaying, if the loop is infinite, the book in some time will decay and the loop will end. This is the paradox. In the majority of the time travel stories they ignored this fact, and the loop is eternal.
