Phew, took forever to get this one working - but it's finally here! Horrible picture though lol.

Slow? Maybe, but we didn't notice because of the tension and the big bursts of either action and/or emotions 😅

I don't know how I feel about the show yet. I don't know anything about the source material but even though it's in an Alt U, it paints a pretty grim picture of our society. It might be a little too heavy as entertainment for my tastes.

Trent Reznor has done loads of TV prior to this, and he's also the singer/songwriter of the massive 90's band Nine Inch Nails.

Yeah we found out after watching the episode and talking about it. The few times I've heard his name before was in relation to movie scores, so that's just pretty much the only thing I knew about him 😅

I'm gonna focus on the reaction, more than the show; because like you, I am only one episode into it lol. Final Frontier, I laughed with you both, so much. The last frontier, the state motto of Alaska, is also a tv show, and a 1955 movie. Aside from that ;) Kat's very in depth memory of Watchmen, is amazing! I loved the exploration of the metaphors of good and evil, against the colors they are portrayed. So much of human history is extremely color centric. I like that they throw out this notion (as it is thrown at us everyday), but as Sonny said, the story returns to grey. Notice the very real friendships, blurring into grey. The child rearing, a constant mix of grey humanity, against the stark power of black and white. The opening of killing black, and the ending of hanging white. This show is headed for the grey between (and probably, the only platform for human beings). Other than that, I am only curious why you both experience sex scenes so differently (yet similar). Sonny looks straight at the screen, with the face of, "Oh, they are really doing that...wtf." Kat looks away from the screen, with the face of, "Oh, they are really DOING that...wtf." Don't answer that, just an observation the two of you can laugh about together. One last thing, if we can get a go-fund-me-page going, can we get Sonny to wear the same glitter lip Kat is wearing, just for one episode....? Love this reaction you two!
