Update: (Patreon)

I can already tell I'm bottlenecking here and there, but otherwise it's definitely much quicker for rendering.
Like a maniac, I'm running both the new and old GPUs at the same time, too.

The biggest thing I've noticed so far is that when rendering full-blast, it's running a bit hotter than I'd like, but still within safe limits. I'll have to keep a close eye on that for the next few days to decide if I need to do something about it. My current guess is no; it's hot, but not dangerously so.

TOTALLY unrelated, but there's a heater vent a couple feet away on the floor, I might have to cover that up in the future.
