Long story short, Cycles is a neat function in Blender that replaces how Blender simulates light and materials and whatever. It allows for much higher quality and more realistic lighting, but is demanding on a computer's GPU.

I tinkered around with it a bit and I realize that my GTX 950 graphics card isn't good enough for it. I did make a test picture (the second stereoscopic pic with the Zorua) but it takes a bit too long to render to be worth it in videos.

Unofficially, I think the first purchase for my computer using the money from this Patreon is going to be a new video card, so I can start using Cycles for more things, preferably some videos. I even saw there's a method of making VR animations, playable through all the standard VR headsets, or even cellphone mount headsets. I tested that, but my first test took over 3 minutes to render ONE frame, and at 20-ish frames per second, it's not worth it.

In the mean time, I'll play around with Cycles to see if I can squeeze some more performance out of it, if you see a picture or animation with some incredible lighting and shading, that'll be a good sign I figured something out.

TL;DR: I'll keep doing what I've been doing, but I found a new method to render in the future that will provide much higher quality renders. Can't afford the part needed yet, but we'll get there.
