When I was a kid and the Simpsons were on in syndication, our local station aired Baywatch right before, so I've seen the last couple of minutes of several episodes of Baywatch while waiting for the Simpsons to start. There was one episode where, and I have no other context for this, the story ended with the reveal that somebody was poisoning beach-goers by injecting poison into sunscreen bottles and then the person would rub it on themselves and die. That really stuck with me and it still makes me untrusting of sunscreen to this day. There was also an episode where the actor that played Mickey on Seinfeld played an elf and it ended with it snowing on the beach. I'm really hoping that was a Christmas episode, but as sunscreen killers can show us, Baywatch was... weird.
