I'm a big fan of exploration Castlevania style games, but so many of the indie ones being made go heavy into combat, which is the least interesting part for me. Our new game simplifies the combat into an automatic turn-based system so it can focus on uncovering squares and finding items.

Exploration games with simplified combat wind up being similar to a puzzle-light ZZT. A classic for somebody whose first computer was a 386 that couldn't run much!
