Sometimes your bad guys are so driven they ignore the pain they're causing. Sometimes your bad guys aren't bad and you just both have opposing goals and you must fight because only one of you can succeed. Sometimes your bad guys just genuinely enjoy bein' dicks. 

They're victims of birth because they were spawned to be natural Forces of destruction, but at least they're not grumpy about it. Sure, they can still hate Creation for making them, but don't let that get you down in the long run. Everybody needs a mental health day where you just beat up some dinks in suits.
