More work travel, so it's time to bring the judgment back to North America with a harsh gaze towards Canadia for the 2010s and I'm happy to say it holds up.

Repeated ads about companies practically scooping up pets off the street to do experiments on them. I mean, scaring people into thinking that their pets are going to be taken and experimented on? THAT is a political ad to wow even the United States.

Montreal is like a cleaner San Francisco. It's San Francisco without the fear that you're about to step in human waste any second now.

Air Canada, absolutely no room for luggage but they actually have leg room. Strange mix.

Hearing Montreal natives talk about Quebec independence and how it's changed in the age of the Internet is great. It's one of those topics that's neat to dive into and far more interesting than most of what my history teachers taught me.

Montreal drivers are seriously aggressive drivers. Red lights seem like suggestions and the roads are pretty crowded to begin with before you add in the construction traffic.

So much good fooood... Pouding Chomeur for when you love the taste of maple syrup but would feel guilty about drinking it right from the bottle. Lots of great seafood. Tarte a la Normande, when France apple pies are better than American's. Even a lunch of Mais Coco soup and grilled cheese was fantastic.

Montreal, you get an official thumbs up. You didn't disappoint in your love of hockey and the occasional "ehs". Enjoy your F1 races but drive safely. We need you and your baked goods skills.
