[Update] Thanks to everybody that weighed in. It was pretty close to be being split down the middle, so given that there wasn't overwhelming joy at the idea and I'm not super into Discord myself, I'll hold off on it. As always though, I'm open to chat here through messages and comments, on Tumblr, and by email. It's Sins AMAs all day, every day, baby.

Would anybody be interested in a Sins/Mercs/Transported/whatever it is I do these Discord channel? I have a "friend" trying to get me to be "social" and not hide in the dark sheltered from human contact and the "sun".

So if I set up a Discord, would you want to use it or would you prefer to keep it all on Patreon? I wouldn't offer Patreon-specific rewards for it or anything. It would just be a social thing to add to communication and fun.

I find you pretty social on here, community building can be very beneficial, but also very taxing, sometimes artist need a safe space. Make the call on your personality not what we would like. cheers!

Thanks. I'm always happy to jump in on comments here. I think the idea of Discord would be more if the readers here would want to talk to each other rather than specifically to me? I'm pretty easy to reach and answer anything that comes my way already, so this is more for you than me.

I personally have found that I don't like using discord for social interaction. I use it for other purposes. But that's just me.

I honestly don't know much about it. I thought it was just a chat thing so it's all social?

While I love using Discord for social networking, but it can very hit or miss with servers and wether or not I interact in them. So i'm more yes leaning but have some reservations about if I would use the server or not like I use my other main servers so far.

here is a "no" vote, my comic farm has enough acreage, reluctant to follow content that forks too many more places

I primarily use it for content sharing, so certain features of the app that I rely on for updates on my content channels get bogged down if I use it for talking to people. But i'm weird.
