Chapter 2: A New Life

Tired and getting hungry now, Rico continues to wander the city. His day is winding down and the events have left him exhausted, scared, and despondent.

Rico passes by a small diner on the outskirts of the busy parts of the city, but doubles back and slowly heads through their bubble door.

Rico approaches the alien woman manning the counter. She's tough and large and looks like anybody trying to do a dine and dash would regret the heck out of it. Rico cautiously speaks to her, open and honest that he's lost and has no money but he needs some help.

The lady running the place gives him a quick look up and down, sees by his pitiful state that he's probably not lying, and warmly extends a hand. "I think we can find something for you to do. Take a seat, honey.". Rico clambers up the seat and practically slumps forward asleep on the counter as the lady goes back to prepare some food, and Rico finally smiles.

And we end Chapter 2 on a happy note! Rico has found a friend and a safe harbor in the chaos of the Galactic Standard. Stuck in a sea of robots, doors made out of bubbles, and strange aliens. Strange, sexy escort aliens...
