Blue reaches down and yanks Rico up by the bicep with a bit of a confused huff. She addresses him, "I don't get why this bothers you. It means your species actually has a purpose. You're not just the random outcome of where chance evolutionary mutations ended."

"Other than this, humans don't have any unique characteristics. But that's what makes you unique!"

Rico attempts to object to this. "We... ummm... we have opposable thumbs! That's a big deal back on Earth..."

Blue sternly points to a random alien strolling by in the background. "His tentacles have an almost infinite degree of flexibility and control. Your pitiful thumb joint is pathetic.". Rico is saddened.

I've written some pretty hateful villains in the past, but Blue might take the cake. Even the Sins accepted the majesty of the thumb.
