We've been fiddling with some date prototypes to see how the length of one feels. So far it's been pretty good, so I'm fiddling around with UI and layouts. Some of these assets are yoinked from Crush Crush and are very placeholder. I just wanted to share this to see what you all thought... Once we have a little more working I will share a gameplay video :)

Oh, so I'm guessing that yellow is skills, and that the purple is applications of those skills (techniques?). If each of them do correspond to a skill, I think that most make sense, but deception going off lucky seems weird. Maybe also ruthlessness, but otoh, I never really got what the motivation skill was even supposed to be. And I could just be reading all of this wrong.

No, wait, it's pretty much light vs dark side skills? Light being straightforward and honest, while dark side... well, not so much.

Yah I'm thinking I'll need to rework the skill icons but the yellow are light-side and purple are dark-side options.

Oh, I had expected it to be a more straightforward visual novel, just story and a few decisions, no skills. But this, I like this RPGish approach more. :)
